In the firmware editing section for the Hitachi Gen2 (SH725X) ECU, the ability to chip tune Nissan cars has been added: Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Rogue, Nissan Rogue Sport, Nissan Serena.

Together with the tuning order, the MMCFlash service provides the opportunity to FREE edit the Hitachi Gen2 (SH725X) ECU according to such parameters as: Euro2, Euro0, EvapOff, EgtOff, EgrOff.

What parameters change when tuning the MR20DD engine after editing on the MMCFlash website?

The composition of the fuel mixture has been changed as follows: in the fully open throttle and maximum load modes, the mixture is brought to 12.6 (poorer than in stock), thereby increasing the temperature and pressure in the combustion chamber and increasing torque, as well as reducing specific fuel consumption in low speed and fully open throttle, the fuel mixture is brought to 13.2 (richer than in stock), thereby increasing the temperature and pressure in the combustion chamber and increasing torque.


The ignition timing has been changed from 25 to 29 degrees in maximum speed and maximum load mode.


Throttle angle limiting at low speeds is disabled.


The torque demand is calibrated in such a way that a larger amount of torque is achieved with a smaller request, in combination with tuning the mixture composition, ignition timing and removing throttle limiting, this gives better traction at low speeds with small pressures on the accelerator pedal.


The accelerator pedal response has been changed to linear. This upgrade gives the car better sensitivity.


The torque request filters for the CVT have also been changed to linear at high speeds to reduce the pause effect when pressing the accelerator pedal.

The calculation of the traction force of the variator is calibrated in such a way that with a low torque demand and low load, the variator selects a gear ratio at which the engine speed is minimal, but allows for the required level of traction, this allows significant fuel savings in quiet driving modes.

After tuning, there is an increase in car dynamics:

for cars with CVT - 1.2 sec.


for cars with a manual gearbox - more than 1 second.
