Engine chip tuning MR20DD for Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Rogue, Nissan Rogue Sport, Nissan Serena

Chip tuning for Nissan cars is available on the MMCFlash website. Nissan models with the MR20DD engine are available for tuning, such as: Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Rogue, Nissan Rogue Sport, Nissan Serena. With the help of chip tuning you can improve the performance of these cars. We will tell you more below.
Calibrations have been changed in the program
The fuel mixture composition is adjusted as follows: in fully open throttle and maximum load, the mixture is adjusted to 12.6 (leaner than stock), thereby increasing the temperature and pressure in the combustion chamber and increasing the torque, as well as reducing fuel consumption. In low RPM and fully open throttle modes, the fuel mixture is adjusted to 13.2 (richer than stock), thereby increasing the temperature and pressure in the combustion chamber and increasing the torque. Thus, the fuel mixture composition is optimized throughout the range of maximum loads. In the range of low loads and low RPM, the fuel mixture composition remains unchanged and remains stoichiometric at 14.7, so the average fuel consumption does not increase. This optimization is very important for chip tuning of naturally aspirated engines and provides a 2-3% increase in torque. For clarity, the mixture composition log is provided for the acceleration mode up to 100 km/h, where red represents stock and blue represents tuning.
The ignition timing angle has been changed from 25 to 29 degrees in the mode of maximum RPM and maximum load. The knock detection algorithms have not been changed, and the safety system operates fully in normal mode. When using Super fuel (for Europe) or Regular fuel (for USA and UK) on all test vehicles in different countries with different climates, the detonation control system performs its function in normal mode.
The limitation of the throttle opening angle at low RPM is disabled. The throttle valve opens fully immediately when the accelerator pedal is kickdown.
The torque request is calibrated in such a way that a higher torque value is achieved with a smaller request. In combination with tuning the fuel mixture composition, ignition timing, and removing throttle limitation, this provides better low-end traction with minimal accelerator pedal input.
The torque request filters for the continuously variable transmission (CVT) have also been changed to linear at high speeds to reduce the lag effect when pressing the accelerator pedal.
The calculation of the traction force of the continuously variable transmission (CVT) is calibrated in such a way that with a small torque request and low load, the CVT selects a gear ratio that minimizes engine RPM while still providing the necessary level of traction. This allows for significant fuel savings during calm driving conditions.
Measurements of acceleration of a car with a CVT:

Stock: 13.3 sec. Tuning: 12.1 sec. A difference of 1.2 seconds for atmosphere. Is an excellent result reflecting that that there is an increase in dynamics.
